Our story

Where little minds ripen

Clevercado started with a simple wish: give young children a calm, joyful place to practice their letters and sounds — without ads, without pressure, and without anyone trying to sell them something.

Why an avocado?

Because good things take a little time to ripen — and so do little readers. Our friendly avocado in a graduation cap is here to cheer kids on, one small win at a time. There's no rush, no losing, no scary red X. Just gentle encouragement and lots of stars.

Starting with sounds

Learning to read starts with sounds. Clevercado focuses on CVC words — consonant-vowel-consonant words like cat, sun, and bug. These simple three-letter words are a natural early step, and our two activities practice them from both directions:

Picture & Build connects a word's meaning to its spelling. Sound & Match trains the ear to hear the difference between similar words — the listening skill that reading quietly depends on.

Calm by design

No flashing lights. No countdown timers. No leaderboards. We designed Clevercado to be the opposite of frantic — soft colors, big friendly buttons, and short rounds that always end in a win. It's a screen experience a parent can feel good about handing over.

Ripening soon

Phonics is just the beginning. We're growing Clevercado into a whole little early-learning garden — with shapes, early math, and more on the way. These two phonics activities — Picture & Build and Sound & Match — are free to play. As Clevercado grows, new little-learning activities may arrive as paid extras.

A note on how it's made

Clevercado is a small, independent project. Our illustrations and voice sounds are created with the help of AI tools, then chosen and checked by hand to keep them warm, clear, and kid-friendly. We're always listening — if you ever spot a sound or picture that could be better, tell us and we'll fix it.
