Natthaya Gerasymenko
Former chemist, mom of three & maker of Clevercado 🥑

Hi, I'm Natthaya. There's no big team behind Clevercado — just me, building it a little at a time, with my little reviewers (and my husband!) close by.

I trained as a chemist — a PhD, then postdoctoral research in Japan — growing crystals and studying how molecules fit together. I even discovered a few no one had ever seen before. Chemistry taught me something I've never forgotten: the same thing can heal or harm. What matters isn't the thing itself — it's the care, and the balance.

A screen is not the enemy

When Covid closed the world, it was screens that kept it going — Zoom classrooms, kids still learning from home. Many people blamed the screen. But I saw it differently: a screen is just a tool. It all depends on how you use it. Used carelessly, it's just noise. Used with care, it can open a whole world for a child.

"The secret is balance — the middle path. Not fear, not excess. Just enough, used with intention."

That simple idea — a little screen time, used with care — is what Clevercado is built on.

Clevercado is my way at that balance for the youngest learners: gentle, ad-free tools that give little minds a friendly bit of early-learning practice — starting with letters and sounds, and growing from there — built by one mom, in the pockets of a busy day, for my own three children and hoping it might be lovely for yours too.

Made with care (and honesty)

I'm one person wearing a lot of hats, so I lean on modern tools — including AI — to help create the illustrations and voices. But every picture and every sound is chosen and checked by hand, with intention, to keep Clevercado warm and kind. If you ever spot something that could be better, I'd genuinely love to hear from you.

Thank you for being here — it means the world.
— Natthaya 💛
